General Visa Application Requirements to Apply for Caymanian Visitor Visa

  1. Visitor visa application form for Cayman Islands – Completed Caymanian visa application form.
  2. Original and signed passport – The passport has to be valid for at least 6 months before entering Cayman Islands and 3 months after departing Cayman Islands. It must contain a minimum of 2 spare visa web pages and can not be older than ten years.
  3. Passport type photo – Photo must be no older than six months and ought to be 35 x 40mm in size.
  4. Previous passport – Offer a previous passport if you had any.
  5. Previous visas – Copies of previous Caymanian visas information if you had any.

  8. Original financial institution declarations – Original financial institution statements for the last 3 months revealing enough funds to cover your visit in Cayman Islands. If statements are printed online after that it has to be Verified (marked) by the bank representatives.
  9. Hotel Reservations in Cayman Islands – Copy of confirmed hotel reservations including name of the applicant, name and address of the hotel, duration of stay. In many scenarios, only bookings which are partly or completely pre-paid can be accepted.
  10. Employment letter – This letter needs to be: original and signed letter from employer written on company letter head paper, validating your ongoing employment, the status of employment, regular monthly salary and annual leave. Additionally, please supply your three newest pay slips. If you are self-employed: offer certified copies of business registration, income tax return.
  11. For students. Please give the following:
  • Evidence of current student status: Certificate of Enrollment.
  • Original and signed letter from university written on university letter head paper, affirming on-going enrolment, verifying the payment of tuition fees or any type of scholarships, and confirming semester break.
  • Insurance policy from Organisation/University– Give a letter from the University specifying the purpose, duration of travel and confirmation that you are going to be covered by the insurance for the entire trip together with the Certificate of Currency and summary of benefits.

In general, visa applications for Caymanian visa must be submitted for a maximum of 6 months, and no later than 15 days, prior to the journey.
