General Visa Application Requirements to Request Austrian Visitor Visa

  1. Traveler visa application for Austria – Completed Austrian visa application form.
  2. Original and signed passport – The passport has to be valid for at the very least 6 months before going into Austria and three months after departing Austria. It must have at the very least two spare visa web pages and can not be older than 10 years.

  • Insurance policy from Organisation/University – Supply a letter from the University stating the purpose, period of travel and confirmation that you are going to be covered by the insurance for the entire trip along with the Certificate of Currency and summary of benefits.
